Cobie Smulders Welcomes Baby Girl!

Actress Cobie Smulders and fiancé actor Taran Killam welcomed baby girl Shaelyn Cado Killam on May 16th! The pregnancy was announced in November.

The How I Met Your Mother actress enjoyed the company of co-star Alyson Hannigan during the pregnancy. “It’s nice because we can just talk about babies all day long, and not be like, ‘Okay, this person has to be sick of this,’ because you know that she’s just as excited as I am,” Alyson, mother of newborn Satyana, told People. The two swapped many stories and tips concerning baby gear and other baby topics.

“You really can’t help it, because you have babies on the brain, and you can’t help but talk about it a lot,” Cobie laughed. “From creams, doctors, birth methods, dilation … You talk about everything.”

Shaelyn is Cobie and Taran’s first child.
