Assistant Chief Ed Winter tells "The Insider" that the coroner will return the brain to Jackson's family once the tests are complete. He says it is not uncommon for a coroner to hold onto the brain or parts of the brain for testing.
Winter also tells "The Insider" that some families have been known to delay a burial until the brain is returned.
