Michael Jackson's televised memorial service on Tuesday was watched by tens of millions of people.

Thirty-one million people turned on their TV sets to watch the public goodbye to the King of Pop, while millions more watched online, according to the Associated Press.

The AP reports that the 31 million number fell short of the U.S. viewing audience for Princess Diana's 1997 funeral, which numbered 33.2 million. By contrast, 38 million people tuned in to see President Barack Obama's inauguration, according to the AP.

I hope this complicated man can rest in peace. My thoughts and opinions on him are varied, I have always thought that he did molest little boys, that being said I am so very glad that all of this is over way to much coverage for me.
