Redmond O'Neal, the son of the late Farrah Fawcett, appeared in a Santa Clarita courtroom Thursday for an update on his probation violation case. Read on for details…

A representative from the Los Angeles County Superior Court tells "The Insider" that Redmond was in court Thursday morning to request a continuance on his probation violation case, which was granted.

A preliminary hearing in the case is set for August 21.

O'Neal attended the funeral of his late mother, who was laid to rest last Tuesday.

  • Redmond should be sent to Darfur without any luxuries, extra food or clean water. Then hecan see how hard it is to actually survive one day without having gazillionaire parents pander to his every need. He has wasted the best years of his life getting high, and I would like to know why? How could he have done this to his mother, who obviously loved him so dearly? Did he not get that new car when he wanted it? It is just another pathetic example of Hollywood creating monster children!

  • This is really sad all this garbage about Michael Jackson. Everyone should think about Michaels wishes which his family is mourning. The media is tearing his family apart and should be held countable for this. GREED!!!!
