Britain’s Got Talent’s Shaheen Jafargholi says Michael Jackson used to watch him on YouTube

Jafargholi told Larry King that he had been contacted after Jackson watched him on the internet and invited him to perform at his O2 dates.

The 12-year-old said: “Michael was meant to be doing his string of tour dates and because I was on Britain’s Got Talent he saw me on YouTube and he wanted me to appear with him. Apparently he used to watch me on YouTube every day - he used to really like me. When I first heard, I couldn’t believe it. I was honoured to be invited. I was going to be singing a duet of Heal The World with him.”

Jafargholi said he was more than happy to be asked to perform at the memorial service.

He said: “I just felt really blessed that I’d been given the opportunity and also just the chance to say goodbye to my idol and my hero in a way that no other person on Earth ever could.”
