Mel Gibson to Return to the Big Screen in a movie ‘Beaver’

Hoping to see Mel Gibson soon again on a Big Screen.

Mel Gibson & Jodie Foster will work together again in a movie "The Beaver" which will be directed by Jodie, the script, written by Kyle Killen

Gibson will play a depressed man who finds solace in wearing a beaver hand-puppet. On top of helming, according to Variety Foster will play the role of the man’s wife.

Filming is expected to begin in September in New York City.

Gibson and Foster previously starred in 1994’s Maverick.

The actor’s last big movie role was in the 2002 chiller Signs.

In April, Gibson announced he and his wife Robyn were divorcing after nearly 30 years.

The 53-year-old actor — who is expecting a baby with girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva — has signed on to headline
