Julian Lennon is the son of the murdered John Lennon. Julian is John Lennon’s son from the Beatle’s first marriage with Cynthia. However, Julian already drifted away from his dad before his death. In his website Julian mentions:
I had a great deal of anger towards Dad because of his negligence and his attitude to peace and love, that peace and love never came home to me
Sean Lennon is Julian’s half brother. Even though the two were on non speaking terms, Julian was a big fan of his elder brother Sean. Sean Lennon has become a big celebrity like his dad as well.
The Problem between the two Lennons
Sean and Julian started drifting away from each other after Julian made terrible comments about the widow of ex-Beatle Yoko Ono.
The comment was just a concern about Yoko Ono’s, widow of the John Lennon. But, it ignited a family feud that lasted eight years!
Reconciliation
The brothers finally came to terms recently and are speaking to each other again. After a show in Prague, both hugged each other.
Julian (44 years old) and Sean (31) are good friends again. This was Julian’s effort to end the eight year old family feud.
I think this should help John Lennon’s soul rest in peace and would certainly respect the deceased singer and his works. Indeed, John Lennon’s sons makes up to their father by bridging the gap and ‘Giving peace a chance’ (a song by the Beatle).
