VMA Deja vu for Russell Brand

He was the most memorable act of last year’s , but looks like will reprise his role as the music awards show host this year again.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall comic star promised not to offend this time and have a “controversy-free festival of love and discreet orgasms.” This sounds like something hot again.

I’m feeling a series of joyful twitches and spasms beginning at the tips of my tiny toes and traveling up in glorious ways throughout my body as I begin to accept that I am the MTV VMA host again,” Brand said. “You have my word as an Englishman that there will be no controversy this year.”

Though not everyone is happy Russell makes his hosting comeback, MTV managers are looking forward to the show.

We are thrilled that despite numerous death threats from fans, has accepted our offer to put his life on the line and host the VMAs again this year,” MTV’s General Manager, Stephen Friedman, told Usmagazine.com.


So, what should we expect?
