It seems Tony Romo has been stepping out to "lift his spirits" nearly every night since breaking up with Jessica Simpson.

The two reportedly split the night before her 29th birthday, with sources adding that the break up resulted in Jessica canceling her party.

Now People.com reports that the footballer has been playing -- off the field -- ever since. On Friday, Jessica's birthday, Tony enjoyed a guys' night out with a large posse of friends at Hollywood hotspot MyHouse.

"He had quite a few girls stop by his dance floor table," one onlooker told People. Another source adds that his buddies took him out to "lift his spirits. His friends wanted him to have some fun before football training camp starts."

Saturday afternoon, the mag reports that he and his friends lounged by the pool at the swanky Sunset Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood, where they stayed for "a relaxed boys weekend," according to an onlooker.

By Monday, the party picked back up as the boys headed out to West Hollywood's Key Club. Manager Mark "Skip" Bucculoa says they were well behaved and "low-key."

Just yesterday, the sports star was spotted shopping at Affliction on Melrose, picking a few tees and board-shorts. People adds that he reportedly shot a Pepsi commercial that morning and is expected in Tahoe for the Celebrity Golf Week that runs through the 19th.
