Taylor, 77, has again used her Twitter account to alert fans to her health status telling them: “I wanted you my friends to know that I’m going into the hospital on Wednesday or Thursday to complete a test I was in the middle of.”
Her Tweet also took the chance to deny that she was on suicide watch or was being admitted to hospital because her grief over Michael Jackson’s death as had been reported in some news outlets.
She added: “Although my grief over Michael could not be any deeper, I am not on suicide watch as some of the cheaper ‘rags’ would have you believe.”
“The heart’s gone out of her,” newspaper gossip columnist Cindy Adams in The New York Post had claimed.
“She’s suffering weakness, tiredness, exhaustion, emotional draining. She hasn’t stopped crying. She and Michael were devoted to one another,” alleged Adams.
Adams has claimed the Jackson family did not want Taylor to attend the memorial at Staples Center, from which she was absent and denied her access to his funeral.
Taylor has had numerous bouts with illness and doctors over the years.
Only recently, she had been in hospital for what she herself called a routine check and she tweeted about that visit, also.
After Jackson died, Taylor said: “I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him.”
Taylor was a vocal supporter of Jackson during his trial for child molestation charges, of which he was acquitted.
