Diana’s Sons Pay Her Homage at Concert
The Concert for Diana was little more than your usual parade of celebs,
but it did teach us a few things we might not otherwise have known.
For instance, were you aware that Duran Duran was one of Princess
Diana's favorite bands?

And did you know that Rod Stewart has a great kicking leg? We didn't
either - until he punted a soccer ball into the Wembley Stadium crowd.

Another thing we found out - Tom Jones really likes plastic surgery.
He appears to also have a fondness for Joss Stone, whom he sang a
generation-bridging, slightly creepy duet with.

Oh, and guess what? People don't like Simon Cowell. Yes, Simon Cowell
managed to get booed at a tribute concert for Princess Diana.

All right, so it was no revelation to see people hating on Simon. It
was eye-opening, however, to find out what a bad dancer Prince William
is. You'd think he would've taken a couple lessons at some point.

But the most amazing thing we discovered from the show? Wembley
Stadium is big enough to house the egos of Kanye West, Diddy and Elton John
simultaneously. We didn't think such a place existed.

  • Agreed. It was a noble gesture by the princes to try to get everyone to remember her in a good way, which she deserves.
