Amy Winehouse Splits From Husband

A judge granted the couple -- who wed in Miami in 2007 -- a divorce this morning in London, the Associated Press reports.

Neither Winehouse, 25, nor Fielder-Civil, 27, were present in family court. The divorce becomes final in six weeks and one day.

The pair had a contentious relationship. Six months after they eloped, Fielder-Civil was arrested on assault charges and jailed.

He filed for divorce earlier this year, citing infidelity.

In court papers made public today, he said living with Winehouse was "intolerable." Winehouse admitted she'd committed adultery in April 2008, the last month they lived together.

Winehouse has been living in the Caribbean island of St. Lucia for the past eight months.

The troubled singer rose to stardom with 2006's "Back to Black," which won her five Grammys.

She stands trial in London next week on charges of assaulting a fan.
