One Dead After Set Collapse On Madonna's Tour

What an awful story.

One person is dead and seven have been injured after a set collapsed during the preparation for Madonna's concert in Marseilles, France Thursday.

The accident occurred during construction of the stage for Madonna's show at the Velodrome Stadium, when the roof collapsed. Police and fire officials closed the stadium to try and rescue anyone still trapped inside. The concert has been cancelled.

"I am devastated to have just received this tragic news," Madge said in a statement. "My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news."
