Howard Stern Hates “Kung Fu Assassins”
Howard Stern apparently isn’t thrilled over a new indie movie, “Kung Fu Assassins,” which features a shaggy-haired, stripper-loving shock jock named “Howee” who divorces his wife and latches onto a hot young girlfriend. The character is kidnapped by his former boss and some martial-arts baddies after he leaves his radio station for another company. Director Stan Derain, who’s seeking a distributor, told us he got a call from Stern show reporter Steve Langford, who “told me it was terrible. It was upsetting because, how can he say that when he hasn’t even seen it? I’m a big Stern fan and hope he doesn’t take it the wrong way.”
