It’s just not as interesting or glamorous when it’s not Britney Spears. I haven’t even seen any helicopters. Poor little rich girl, Mischa Barton has been sent to the psych ward at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center here in LA. She has been under a 5150 code, which means authorities can hold a person involuntarily if they present a danger to themselves or other, are gravely disabled or suffer from a mental disorder

Remember, Mischa called 911 on Wednesday to request help for what was first reported as excruciating pain due to complications from oral surgery and escorted by the police to the hospital on Wednesday night (July 15).

Mischa will be held for 72 hours but unfortunately, authorities are prohibited from disclosing the information due to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Whatever that means.
