It looks like Dana Delany may be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives after reportedly missing out on a lead role for the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she was the first choice to play Bree, but after she turned down the pilot, the role went to Marcia Cross. Delany is said to be in secret talks to play a new neighbor who'll move to Wisteria Lane with a toy-boy husband and daughter. I guess Desperate Housewives is getting desperate to bring life back into that show.
