Pop star Christina Milian announced her engagement to her longtime boyfriend and music producer The-Dream, according to a report.

Milian was proposed to with a six-carat ring from Ivanka Trump's jewelry line, Us magazine reports.

She says her and her new fiance have yet to make any wedding plans. "We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it's not going to be too big," the 27-year-old singer tells Us.

The-Dream tells the publication that they are planning for children. "I love kids, and [Christina] loves kids probably more than I do," he says. "You have to do your work -- then whenever she makes that time for herself -- she'll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around."
