A new heartthrob has joined the likes of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in the 'Twilight' movie series. Model Noot Seear takes on the role of an irresistible, vampire seductress in 'New Moon,' and she reveals the challenges of her sexy character.

Seear plays Heidi who is a member of the elite group of Italian vampires known as the Volturi -- and she possesses the gift of seducing humans.

'New Moon' director Chris Weitz talks to Women's Wear Daily about casting Seear for the intoxicating role, “We wanted someone who had an unearthly and unlikely beauty, but could also convey humor and menace. ... It’s rare to find a stunningly attractive person who also happens to have the ability to act.”

“Modeling was great to me. I made a lot of money doing it,” Seear tells WWD of making the jump from modeling to acting. “[But] what makes acting different is that you get a voice. You’re not just a picture.”

She continues, "I was really scared because you’re not allowed to look in the camera [when filming a movie], but in the modeling world, you’re supposed to.”

Seear reportedly solved this problem by wearing heavy-duty violet contacts on-screen that impaired her vision. “I literally couldn’t see two feet in front of me. They would tell me, ‘Look at Kristen [Stewart],’ and I was like, ‘OK. Where is she?’”

Catch Seear and her other sexy costars in 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon,' rising in theaters on November 20.
