President Barack Obama Defends His Jeans at The Insider

President Barack Obama reacted jokingly this morning to some comments thrown at him by the fashion police regarding the blue jeans he wore at the All-Star game.

"Michelle, she looks fabulous. I'm a little frumpy," he laughs with "Today Show" host Meredith Vieira. "A few years ago I only had four suits. [Michelle] used to tease me because they'd get real shiny."

As for his dungarees, Obama says he's keeping them. "I hate to shop. Those jeans are comfortable."

He also offers a funny message to America in defense of his style, "For those of you who want your President to look great in his tight jeans, I'm sorry. I'm not the guy."

Aw so many sadly spared the presidential muffin top. Low cut is a trend, and a foul one too I might add unless you are 13 and weigh 80 lbs...You can call my mom jeans 'Marilyn' jeans, thank you.

I could be wrong BUT I'm thinking he has more important stuff to do than go buy jeans!!! I'm thinking new jeans, bad economy, however old jeans, money in my pocket. I like the second choice better.
