Well, she's exaggerating just a smidge.
What she means is that she's always breaking the rules of marriage.
She says: "I'm not very good at being a wife because I sort of break them all. So does he, though, so...whatever!"
Hmm. What rules are these?
She may be referring to "compromise", which Heigl calls the key to a successful marriage.
But when it came to "dating rules" she threw those out the window after meeting Josh. She called him the day after meeting him, and invited him to a barbecue! Shocking.
