Report: Jon Gosselin Heads to the Hamptons with Michael Lohan

Jon Gosselin and Kate Major, a reporter for the Star tabloid, spent time with Lindsay Lohan's father Michael Wednesday in the Hamptons.

Michael Lohan explains his relationship with the reality TV star to People magazine.

"Jon is a friend, he's a great guy, he needed a place to get away to and my doors were open to him and Kate Major," Lohan tells People. "Jon and Kate [Major] are good friends of mine."

According to People, Gosselin was also spotted with Major last weekend at restaurant in New York City.

Gosselin has reportedly been dating family friend Hailey Glassman since his separation from his wife Kate Gosselin.
