Bryce Dallas Howard Signs on For 'Twilight' Sequel
"The Insider" can confirm that 'Terminator Salvation' star Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing a 'Twilight' cast member for the franchise's third movie, 'Eclipse.' Read on for the details!

 

Howard will taking over Rachelle Lefevre's role as the vampire Victoria, says Summit Entertainment.

"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," said Erik Feig, Summit's president of worldwide production and acquisitions. "Rachelle brought 'Victoria' to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."

Summit says that scheduling conflicts prevented Lefevre from continuing on as Victoria. 'Eclipse' starts shooting this August and is expected to rise in theaters on June 30, 2010.

Shooting for the second film in the 'Twilight' series, 'New Moon,' has wrapped, and the film will be in theaters November 20.
