Michael Jackson's mother Katherine and ex-wife Debbie Rowe have negotiated an out-of-court agreement for custody of the late singer's children, a source tells ET.

The agreement is said to give Katherine full custody of all three children; Prince Michael I, 12, Paris-Michael Katherine, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7, also known as "Blanket." Debbie will be given "meaningful visitation" and retain her legal parental rights. Debbie is mother to the two oldest children, while the mother of "Blanket" has never been made public.

All three children have been living with their grandmother at the Jackson family home in Encino, Calif., since Michael's death last month.

A source close to Debbie says that throughout the negotiations she wanted the custody agreement to be amicable; saying that she never had any intention of splitting up the children or removing them from their environment. The source adds that Debbie wants to establish a relationship with them gradually.
