"I would have died," she tells "The Insider". "I would have slapped him or something. Honestly, I would have been so pissed. That is out of a crazy movie. I can't believe that was real."
Shayne and Matt broke up less than a year after they fell in love, but they still keep in touch.
"We talk every once in a while to catch up and see how we're doing, but we're acquaintances," she says. "I think if we had met outside of 'The Bachelor,' we would have had more of a chance because there was so much pressure [in the public spotlight]."
The 23-year-old actress admits that appearing on the reality TV series hurt her burgeoning acting career, but she feels that appearing on the new E! series, "The Lamas Life," will be different.
"It's with family," Shayne explains. "We're all working together, and I am rebuilding my career. I had a career before, and I have a career now, and I plan on having a career after. The show is basically following me. And I am doing stuff in my career. It's following me, and it's documenting my life. But it can't hurt me anymore because it could only just show and bring out my personality and who I am for people to get to know even more."
"The Lamas Life" premieres this October on E!
