You Spin Me Round: The Foo Fighters Are Back

Following a blistering set at last weekend's Live Earth concert at Wembley Stadium in London, the Foo Fighters announced plans for a sixth studio album titled, Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace. The disc, produced by Gil Norton, will be released September 25. Foo Fighter founder Dave Grohl thinks fans will love it, saying the band expanded their "signature sound" further than before.

"So the album that we're making sounds like a Foo Fighters album, but it's definitely moving in a few different directions. It's cool man, I love it."

Although the band declined to release the running order, NME recently revealed the tracks from Echoes, Silence, Patience, and Grace:

'The Pretender'
'Let It Die'
'Erase/Replace'
'Long Road To Ruin'
'Come Alive'
'Stranger Things Have Happened'
'Cheer Up, Boys (Your Make-Up Is Running)'
'Summers End'
'Ballad Of The Beaconsfield Miners'
'Statues'
'But, Honestly'
'Home'

You Spin Me Round continues, plus this week's free MP3, after the jump.

The band didn't reveal any new material during their Live Earth appearance, instead sticking to classics, including "All My Life," "My Hero," "Times Like These," "Best of You," and "Everlong."

UK fans can cross their fingers and hope to hear new tracks next month: Foo Fighters will play at the V Festival August 18, alongside The Killers, Pink, Kanye West, and Paulo Nutini.
