Jeff Gordon releases new pictures of Ella Sofia

[I have] a whole new respect, not just for parents, but especially for moms.

Jeff and his wife, model Ingrid Vandebosch, released new images of their daughter yesterday when Jeff co-hosted Live with Regis and Kelly.  According to Jeff -- who first introduced Ella Sofia on his website last week -- the photographs were taken by a good friend and "they turned out fantastic."  Like many first-time fathers, Jeff says he was emotional in the delivery room.

My emotions were all over the place, because I was kind of helpless.  She's having the baby, and there's nothing I can do but get the doctors...I'm sure that was very helpful, though...The baby came out and we're both crying  -- in shock -- and then you hear her cry for the first time.  I look over and I'm like 'Honey, how are you?'
