NYC prosecutors: Michael Douglas' son dealt meth

NEW YORK (AP) — Prosecutors in Manhattan have accused Michael Douglas' son of dealing large quantities of methamphetamine.

A criminal complaint made public Thursday alleges that New York users paid 30-year-old Cameron Douglas tens of thousands of dollars for the drugs.

The complaint says the cash was sometimes sent by FedEx to Douglas at a California hotel.

It says he in turn would ship the drugs to New York or deliver them in person.

Cameron Douglas has acted in movies including 2003's "It Runs in the Family," starring his father and grandfather Kirk Douglas.

He was arrested July 28 at the Hotel Gansevoort (GANZ'-uh-vawt) in Manhattan.

His defense attorney's name was not immediately available. Prosecutors declined to comment.
