The Quest for "It": Jessica's Swimwear

Hope at least most of you out there are JS fans, (Jessica Simpson I mean) because this is the week of JS!  I held off my Happy Birthday Jessica this past Wednesday, July 10th knowing full well what was ahead.   Oh sure, you’ve heard last month’s reports about the new fragrance deal she partnered with Parlux Fragrance Inc. also due out this month, but swimwear? Things are getting serious. 

Come Saturday, that’s right tomorrow, at around 9:00 pm the mega-celeb singer will unveil her new swimwear line at the Cabana Grande at the Mercedes Benz Miami Swim 2008 shows.  Both Jessica and her sister Ashlee are confirmed, and it’s rumored that Eva Longoria, and Rachel Leigh Cook will be in attendance.  Sounds like a fairly GOOD time to me, but wait…what does the collection consist of?

Sources say that we can expect to see  “skimpy designs and more modest one pieces.” Skimpy? That is not exactly flattering--how about barely there as a description?  Looks like everyone will just have to wait and see.  The after party is scheduled to be held at  hotelier Ian Schraeger’s Shore Club.  Guests will party in the Redroom, a sexy venue bathed in deep red glowing light bearing a red lacquered teak floor with a matching steel pool table among other things.  It doesn’t get much better than this…come on Jessica, bring on those bikinis!
