It's a Boy for Jennifer Hudson

And the 51st Annual Grammy Winners Are ...

Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has a new joy worth its weight in gold -- a baby boy!

Hollywood Reporter's Showbiz411 blog broke the story this morning, with writer Roger Friedman saying "His name is David Daniel Otunga, Jr., named for his father and Hudson's fianceé. Hudson tells me he weighed in at seven pounds, 14 ounces. And Jennifer and David, Sr., by the way, did not know the sex of the baby in advance. They bought blue and pink clothes, just in case!"

Friedman adds that the pregnancy was never announced due to privacy and superstition, but also because of the family tragedy Hudson suffered last year when her mother, brother and nephew were murdered. She and her fianceé Otunga conceived soon after.

To maintain their privacy, the couple is said to be tucked away somewhere secret -- away from the photogs.
