Gosselin Kids Play without Jon & Kate at The Insider

The "Jon & Kate Plus 8" children were photographed playing outside their Reading, Pennsylvania home, but neither Jon Gosselin nor his wife Kate were present.

The kids were being supervised by a young nanny. The Gosselin girls and boys rode their bikes and scooters around the yard, some of them carrying backpacks and toys.

Kate was on the "Today" show Monday morning, where she explained why she's still wearing her wedding ring after announcing that she is separated from her husband. "I don't want to upset [the kids]," she told "Today" show host Meredith Vieira. "I just feel that is the best thing for them, to walk slowly through it."

Jon most certainly DID have a "babysitter" during his NIGHT that first weekend with the kids. One of the girls was so upset over the "babysitter" that was all over daddy that she called her mom, which precipitated that whole police call thing; Oh...

I wish people would just leave them alone and let them live life. They will never live a "normal" life due to the show but does it really need to be this over dramatic? Do people know how many parents split up in America??? I feel bad for this...

You're right about Jon not hiring sitters during his court ordered time with kids (he lives at the PA home 1/2 of the time). He enjoys cooking & playing with them. Kate always hires help & prefers promoting herself.

Jon does NEVER use babsitters during his scheduled time kids. J & K alternate court ordered time at the PA home w/kids. It was Kate's "turn" to be in PA. Instead she got a sitter & went on the TODAY SHOW w/ bodygurard.

I believe TLC should take the show off the air and get rid of these two people. I thought at first lets watch these shows for awhile but their no good anymore. Our world is filled up with so many problems we do not need this family on TV no more...

Every parent deserves down time and every child deserves time away from parents too. This is normal. Poor family they get crtisized either way. Its a damned if you do and damned if you don't. I think the paps should leave this family alone so they...

At this very moment, kids all over the country, and world for that matter, are in a Child Care facility or with a babysitter/nanny while their parents are at work. Of course, many of these working parents do not make the same bucks Kate and Jon do.
