Michael Douglas 'Devastated' by His Son's Behavior

Michael Douglas and his ex-wife Diandra are speaking out about their son Cameron's drug-related legal woes.

"The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be," the Oscar winner’s rep tells People.com.

Cameron, 30, is being held at the New York City's Metropolitan Correctional Center after his girlfriend Kelly Sott was arrested Monday for allegedly trying to sneak him heroin that was hidden in an electric toothbrush.

  • yeah, but children get addictive genes from their parents and grandparents, and cameron got those addictive genes from his father and probably others in his family. those people in his family NEED to do everything they can to help cameron recover....

  • What a disgrace. Nobody is born addicted to heroin and meth, it was his choice to use it. Has the world at his feet and this is what he does with his life. His parents should lock up their money and have a legal aid lawyer represent him.
