Kate Gosselin answers the question: What if her husband Jon Gosselin wanted to get back together?

On his morning show, "Live with Regis & Kelly," Regis Philbin asked the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" mom, "If he came back tomorrow and he said, 'Look, let's put the past behind us. I want to spend the rest of my life with you and the kids.' What would you say?"

Kate responded, "You know, I don't think I can answer that."

"We definitely have different goals at this point. A lot has changed, a lot of unexpected things have come up. It's not ideal."

TLC's "Jon & Kate Plus 8" airs Mondays at 9/8 p.m. Central.

  • Jon and Kate are both so dysfunctional that they can't make it together. I fear that so much dysfunction will certainly be detrimental to the raising of functional children.
