This is a year of celebration for Former ‘Melroce Place’ star Courtney Thorne-Smith. This September Smith will publish her first book, a novel titled ‘Outside In’ and in winter, she will welcome her first baby. Yes, the 39-year old actress is expecting her first child with husband Roger Fishman, who owns a media company.

The couple will also have something else to celebrate during the winter, the first anniversary of their marriage on Jan. 1, 2008.

Thorne Smith has had bad experience with marriage, her first marriage ended after just seven months and also lost her second chance to become a wife before she made it up the walkway — she called off a lengthy engagement to cardiologist Robert Andrews weeks before the wedding.
