Victoria Beckham was set to serve as a one-time judge for "American Idol"'s ninth season following Paula Abdul's departure -- but is the former Spice Girl's involvement with "Idol" bigger than originally expected?

The Associated Press reports that Beckham helped judge callbacks in Boston on Thursday, after she judged auditions last Friday in Denver.

Beckham, who is married to soccer star David Beckham, told reporters last week that she was nervous about judging, saying, "My heart is about to jump out my throat," according to the AP.
