The snobby families swung into action after The Sun told how TV dimwit Jade had enrolled Bobby — her elder son by ex Jeff Brazier — into reception class at £2,350-a-term private Oaklands School in Loughton, Essex.
Then came a rumour that Jade, who visited the school with Bobby Jack and boyfriend Jack Tweed, had signed a mega-money deal for a magazine to cover his first day there.
One mum at the school, where parents drive expensive 4x4s and boys wear smart green blazers and ties, said: “There is a backlash against the head’s decision to offer Bobby Jack a place from September.
“Parents have seen her and asked her to reconsider because they think Jade Goody will lower the tone and spell trouble.
“One mum has threatened to pull her child out and others are talking about a petition — feelings are running that high.”
Another mother said: “Oaklands is a discreet school and parents don’t like the thought that their kids will be forced to appear in a magazine next to Jade’s. What will be next — paparazzi sitting outside every day?”One Asian mother said she was “surprised” to learn about her enrolling Bobby Jack. However, another parent said: “Jade might have her failings but her son is only four, after all. They will fit in well.”
Jade, 26, said: “It’s ridiculous if these people think my profile as an Essex girl might tarnish the school — they’re all from Essex too.
“I have a very good relationship with the head.
“I can understand parents’ concerns about children being pictured because it’s wrong and shouldn’t happen.”
Jade and Jack do not even live in the area — they have just bought a £1million mansion near Stansted airport, more than 20 miles from Loughton.
Head Pam Simmonds said: “We have an equal opportunities admission policy and offer all our children a first-class education. There have been many positive comments from parents about Miss Goody choosing Oaklands.”Celebs and Bubs
