The television personality said that she’s written an article for Glamour because she “really wanted to go as in-depth as possible about the way” she’s changed physically over the last 10 years on the air.
Jones said that she thought writing that article “would be the most effective way to answer everybody’s questions.”
Jones is promoting her new afternoon talk show that will premiere Aug. 20 on Court TV, which will become truTV at the beginning of the year.
The show is called “Star Jones” because that’s her name as a working woman — but, she said, she’s “always going to be Star Jones Reynolds” who “makes dinner for her husband every night. She’s the wife.”
The live show will feature discussions on the top crime and justice stories of the day.
Jones said that she would welcome her former co-hosts from “The View” on her program — even fellow ex-”View” host Rosie O’Donnell.
