Avatar: First Official Still

Check it out, geeks! The first official still from James Cameron's insanely anticipated movie Avatar has made its way onto the Web, via Slash Film. The still depicts Sam Worthington as paraplegic war veteran Jake Sully, who travels to another planet to work with a mining operation, only to find himself tangling with the local population. Avatar, which also stars Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giovanni Ribisi and Zoe Saldana, hits theaters on December 18.
