Entrenched in a seemingly staged three-way battle for media queendom, Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears continue to produce scandal stories faster than your average soap opera.
After a month and a half in rehab, Lindsay headed straight for a Vegas party on Saturday. Not only that, she’s now found herself wrapped up in a nude photo snafu involving her party-boy ex Calum Best.
Meanwhile, despite receiving warnings from, well, everyone, Britney continues clubbing and causing scenes nearly every day. Over the past weekend, the fallen pop princess hit Les Deux and Element, during which she was said to have had crying episodes throughout. She also threw a tantrum at Shu Sushi the following day. But at least she’s decided to keep her top on… for the moment.
And Paris is taking care of that end of things. The heiress, never to be outdone by her headline competitors decided to let her top fall down while frolicking about the waters of Malibu Beach on Sunday. Instead of covering up, Ms Hilton seems to have edged into the world of soft-core porn by giving photogs on the scene some time to get their money shots.
In what’s becoming the black sheep era of the entertainment business, one can only hope that the new “It” girl crop of young stars like Emma Watson, Miley Cyrus and Emma Roberts aren’t taking notes.
