The trouble reportedly began when Lynne Spears stopped by her daughter’s house with an invitation on the weekend of June 15. "Lynne barged into the house and insisted on taking the kids out to spend some private time with them," an insider told the tab. "She didn’t ask or suggest, she demanded!" says the insider. "Then she began denigrating Britney’s mothering skills and losing her temper at the same time!"Um, well okay, that doesn’t say anything about slapping each other, and it actually makes mom look like the crazy one, but whatever. Britney is clearly nuts. The New York Post adds today:
Nobody can control Britney Spears. Now she's taken over as her own business manager and publicist. Though she's still signed to Jive Records, a source told Page Six, "She is doing all of her own business now." Our spy saw Spears at Aspen on West 22nd Street yesterday afternoon "signing contracts" - possibly related to the recent deal she inked to open a Las Vegas club. The messy mother of two recently cut ties with her manager Larry Rudolf, her mother, and her publicist. The ironic thing is that no one on earth is less equipped to run their own life than Britney Spears. Her only plan should be to listen to other peoples plan, because she's a damn dolt. Dogs should be put in charge of flying our planes before Britney Spears should be allowed to choose her own outfits. I wouldn't trust her with the remote control to the TV, let alone approving a business contract.

Kevin Federline agreed to go on tour with Britney so their two sons can be on the road with their mom. Thoughts?
