It was a fashion and film frenzy as celebs like Renee Zellweger, P. Diddy, Sienna Miller and Donald Trump attended the New York premiere of 'The September Issue,' a new documentary that takes a revealing look at the inner workings of Vogue magazine and its Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.
"She’s someone who's been there for me as a supporter," P.Diddy said of Wintour. "She's been like a godmother to me as far as in fashion. Se taught me about the shows and as a designer how to present a collection. She's treated me like a designer and not just a celebrity. She's always told me the truth."
In a first, filmmakers were allowed exclusive access behind the scenes at Vogue with head honcho Wintour, focusing on, among other subjects, the mag's famous September issue.
"I had always thought that the making of the September issue would be a wonderful subject for a documentary," Wintour said at the premiere, going on to gush about her never-boring job.
"I like the fun of it and the self expression and the creativity," she said. "I think I have the best job in the world."
'The September Issue' opens in New York on August 28 and expands into select cities on September 11.
