Anne Heche on Marriage and Her 'Lazy' Ex-Husband

Television and film star Anne Heche opened up about her ex-husband Coley Laffoon Wednesday night on "The Late Show with David Letterman," and the actress had some choice words for her ex-husband.

 

"Can you say lazy ass on TV?" Heche asks. "No no no, that's terrible."

Letterman asked his guest what her ex does for a living to which she replied, "He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes, 'Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh my gosh I got a check from Anne!'"

Heche's divorce from Coley Laffoon was finalized in March, and the actress and her boyfriend, former "Men in Trees" star James Tupper, welcomed son Atlas Heche Tupper just a few days later.

Although the actress has found happiness with her beau and her children she reveals her new attitude towards marriage.

"Don't go there," she says. "Don't get married…Forever engaged is a wonderful romantic thing to do."

  • That blasphemy was directed towards the ex hubby, but it can be applied to all money hungry exes. Bottom line, get a f*cking job and a life and stop eating off of your ex who got f*cked and had a kid with another man!!

  • i agree how can someone love someone at a point that they believe they cann't live without each and at the end they hate each at point that don't want to speak to each other. At the end the child suffer poor kid go luck to the child.
