Melissa Rycroft Calls 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris' Life 'Fantastic'

Melissa Rycroft says regardless of the rumors that Ed Swiderski was unfaithful, "Bachelorette" Jillian Harris and her new fiance are "happy."

"She is doing really well," Melissa tells Us magazine. The former "Bachelor" contestant befriended Jillian when they were competing to win the heart of Jason Mesnick. Now, Jillian is engaged to Ed and Melissa says she hopes they'll make it down the aisle.

"I know they love each other, and I know they are planning a wedding, and I know she wants to marry him. I hope it works out for them," Melissa says of the couple. "[She] and Ed are happy, and I know she is going to become a U.S. citizen. She's moving to Chicago [where Swiderski resides]."

She continues, "Jillian's real life is fantastic."
