Paula Abdul Is Irreplaceable, Says Queen Latifah

Queen Latifah says she doesn't want to try to replace Paula Abdul. The American Idol recruit said: "She is irreplaceable." Latifah has been picked along with several other high-profile women of music to occupy guest judge spots on the show in the wake of Abdul's recent shock departure. But Latifah is still considering the offer. "I don’t know if I’ll come on the show or not, but it would be an honour,” she said. The popular singer and frequent guest at industry events also spoke of her weight loss - 10 kilograms on a Jenny Craig diet. She said: "It’s not about losing weight or what you look like. If it's losing it for the purposes of being more healthy, when you do lose a certain amount of weight, your body responds to it." Victoria Beckham, Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry are others in line to fill the guest judge spots.
