Hot and Cold singer Katy Perry is to perform live at the launch of the Mira Hong Kong hotel. Katy, 24, will perform at the bash on Nathan Road in the Tsimshatsui district on September 17. The launch party has been created by celebrity event designer Colin Cowie, who is known for working on Elton John's Aids Foundation Oscar Party as well as the big-scale launch of Atlantis. The hotel has 492 rooms and will offer 1,318sqm of events space including eight function rooms and a penthouse ballroom. It will also offer a range of restaurants from Whisk, which will offer European cuisine by chef Justin Quek, to Cuisine Cuisine, which will offer Cantonese dishes.
