Hollywood director Spike Lee celebrated Michael Jackson's birthday with a big party in Brooklyn. The late King of Pop would have been 51 on August 29, and rather than mourn his passing Lee decided to stage a huge event. Thousands of fans headed to the party in Prospect Park and then gathered on Nethermead Meadow. Before the event, Lee revealed: "It's going to just be how we do it, Brooklyn style. "It's going to be a joyous, festive, celebratory party."
