"The Insider" has learned that former "Three's Company" star Joyce DeWitt has been charged with driving under the influence.

The charges -- one count of driving under the influence and one for driving with a blood alcohol over .08% -- stem from her run in with the law earlier this year. The TV actress was arrested in El Segundo, Calif. on July 4 by police after officers say they witnessed her drive past a barricade intended to keep away traffic.

At the time, officials told "The Insider" they administered a field sobriety test on the 60-year-old after police officers say they observed signs of alcohol intoxication.
