Madonna is said to be cooking up the most unusual collaboration. The pop megastar has her eyes on Cate Blanchett for a production of the musical Wallis, which will tell the story of Wallis Simpson, the twice-divorced American for whom Edward VIII of England controversially abdicated to marry. UK sources say Madonna is set to direct and produce the musical. The singer appears drawn to films with strong female characters. In the 1999 movie version of the stage musical Evita, she played Argentina's powerful and ambitious first lady Evita Perón. Madonna's last acting role was in 2002's Swept Away. She had planned to start shooting the movie last year but was sidetracked by her divorce from Guy Ritchie.

Rumors have been floating that Zac Efron has been asked to replace Daniel Radcliffe in the controversial Broadway production "Equus". Would you want to see Zac perform in a musical...naked?
