Heather Mills Gets $144 Million Divorce Settlement!

It’s official! Heather Mills is to get a total of $144 million out of her ex-husband, Paul McCartney. She will receive a lump sum of $31 million, and then an additional $8 million each year until their daughter, Beatrice, turns 18. Beatrice is currently 4-years-old.

“The agreement is being seen as a happy outcome, financially at least, for both parties. Sir Paul is paying a smaller lump sum than Miss Mills feels she deserves. But she will still end up with a very large total for someone whose marriage broke up after only four years.”

That is a lot of money! Let’s hope she continues to do her charity work so I will feel less horrible about this settlement.
