Gymnast Dominique Moceanu and husband expecting first child
Olympic gold medalist gymnast Dominique Moceanu, 25, and her husband, Dr. Michael Canales, have announced that they will welcome their first child this January. The couple have said that the are excited and plan to stay in Cleveland where she teaches gymnastics and he is a foot and ankle surgeon.

We are so excited. Mike and I have talked about starting a family for so long. It’s really a dream come true. We love it in Ohio and look forward to raising a family here. Bringing a precious new life into this world is the ultimate achievement – and we can’t wait!
