Ellen DeGeneres Joins American Idol!
I didn’t think I could ever be satisfied with a replacment judge after Paula Abdul’s untimely departure from American Idol, but I can’t help but be excited to share with you the news that Ellen DeGeneres is going to be the 4th judge on this season of American Idol!

Ellen had nothing but great things to say about her new gig:

“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol. I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text my vote.”

Other guest judges during Season 9 auditions include Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Joe Jonas, Neil Patrick Harris, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, and Shania Twain. Love muffins, will Ellen DeGeneres be enough to bring back the ‘Idol’ mania?
